I will say right here and now that I will be making a bed sized quilt using this pattern and it will be soon. I love it and even with the two templates used it was not that bad, nor did it take that long. So I apologize for lying, but I'm actually really glad that it was over something like this block. Your two star blocks are lovely, I can see this one in a bed quilt too. It will be so exciting next year seeing what projects you make with all your blocks. If it makes you feel better, I really haven't started with any gifts either!

Its a great block and I can definitely see a full bed quilt out of it. I can see how you would not have thought it required templates. Can't believe your year of blocks is nearly ended!
