I made this quilt a couple of years ago. It is a Thimbleberries pattern (if you can believe that) made with 30's reproduction fabrics. The blocks were hand appliqued down. I then crosshatch quilted it every 1/2 inch with my home sewing machine. This quilt is big enough for a twin sized bed and hangs to the floor.
The crosshatching shows up better on this block (more sunlight).
Looking at this now, it makes me realize what you can do with a pattern by just changing the fabrics.
I'm so exciting to be participating this year in the Blogger's Quilt Festival. There are HUNDREDS of quilts to see (I think I'm about 387)...go check them out. It is just like going to a quilt show, but being in the comfort of your own home. Thanks so much for stopping by! I need to get to work now on something for the next quilt festival! :)
Happy Stitching!! --Kristen
