We ended up with seven inches of snow and last night before it all started my son decided he should probably tell me his cast was kind of broken. The clinic called back this morning and said I needed to bring him in...during the blizzard. Yes I bundled both of us up and we headed in to orthopedics. My son said it was the best car ride of his life. I guess there is something fun about his mother driving through drifts half way up the car door. I'm also sure he will always remember the day they removed his cast. He has a splint now and he is very happy.
You know sometimes it just amazes me how I don't see the whole picture until I post it here. I have seen arrows in this block, I've seen rail fences and hour glass sections, and now I see two crackers on either side of the block. I did get my block made a little early today and we did not get to play Monopoly. We do have all next week during Christmas break to hopefully get a good game or two in. This is number 355 of 366 and it is a 9-inch block. Happy Stitching!! --Kristen
