I am so excited to finally be able to share this quilt with you. It has been a long time coming, but well worth the wait! (And yes, we did put one Christmas tree up already)!
This quilt is so quick and easy to make which is great for this time of year. I can see making more than one for Christmas gifts. I used Snowfall by Minick and Simpson for mine. The dot background and mini charms were really fun to work with. While there are some Christmas prints, I feel it is more winter, and would have no problem keeping it out for the entire winter season. As a matter of fact, there have been some naps taken under it already!
Taking photos in Minnesota is always interesting, you just never know what you will get and if you will actually get sunlight, or more cloud cover. If you would like to make your own Mini Charm Chocolates quilt you can find the pattern here.
On a happy side note, my husband was released from Oncology this week, so no more appointments there for him. We are five years out from his malignant melanoma diagnosis, and we could not be happier, or more thankful, for five years cancer free! Happy Stitching!! --Kristen
