Nuts About Felt...

It is time for another blog hop, and today it is the "Nuts About..." Blog Hop.  What a fun one, as we can fill in whatever we want.  I am finding that I love working with felt, especially wool felt, and Valentine's Day is the perfect holiday to use it.

I used a wonderful pattern that you can find here.  I didn't add the sprinkles, and I used ribbon for my hangers.  It is always fun to add little changes to patterns to make them your own.

I've been missing in action for the last couple of months because of a hand surgery, and unfortunately won't be able to post for a while yet as I continue to recover.  I never realized just how much I love creating things with my hands, and how boring it is when you can't use them.

There are others who are participating today, and they would love for you to visit them.  There is also a giveaway, so make sure you enter, you just never know you may be the winner!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Thank you so much for visiting, hopefully it won't be long and I will be back to quilting, sewing, and doing all the things I love to do again soon!  Happy Stitching!!  --Kristen

I'm so sorry to hear that you can't do your handwork. I know that would drive me crazy! I have to have something. I can read a long time, but eventually, I want to make something! I LOVE your little valentines. Those are so cute, and I think I like them better the way you made them. Thanks for sharing those with us. Thanks for not using embedded comment box, because blogger doesn't let me comment in those!

Those are some sweet little hearts. Hope your hand heals quickly.

I like the hearts, it would fun to fill those with some little soaps, or potpourri, to place in your drawers or closets to keep clothes smelling fresh. At the same time, they would be cut just filled in a bowl or hanging on a tree at Christmas.

I'm sew happy you shared your nutty side with us today, and I truly hope your hand will heal sooner. I have been their with the hand not working for awhile and I totally understand how difficult it is.

Cute hearts. Get better fast. Nothing worse than a hand injury, it limits so much that you can do.

Those valentine ornaments are adorable. I love that you added the faces and the sweet cheekies (as my granddaughter calls them). They would make cute treats for all the grands...next year?

I would like to make your hearts and glue them to thin dowels. I have just the right place to decorate with these! Thanks for the idea! Love them.
