Tonight I was bound and determined I needed to see how the embroidered middle hexagon would look in the block.
This is the first of many I need to embroider. I haven't decided yet if I am going to use the same floss colors on all of them or use a combination of colors, maybe making all the center ones similar, and then changing up the connector hexies. There are a total of 35 blocks to make, and I've got 30 to go. :) Happy Stitching!! --Kristen

It's beautiful Kristen, makes me feel like getting out my hexies!
The centre looks fantastic. Going to be exciting as you get more done and connected.
HEllo! I've just popped over from Cheryll's to see how your FNwFs was and by the look of those hexies it was successful. I love hexies but am far too impatient to make them.
Just love hexies, yours look great. Er....30 to go you say? lol. You'll get there.
Cheers, Anita.
I love the embroidered hexies! I really need to plan a hexie quilt. I am a little overwhelmed by it. I have a bunch of random hexies. I need to look at them and think about embroidering some centers.
Bonjour from France, just popped in from Cherylls to admire your work.
Love the colours in the hexie flowers.

I would be very happy if those were my hexies. The embroidered centre is lovely. Hugs....
Beautiful hexies!
Kristen the colours of the stitched hexy are really lovely, I'll be watching to see what you do with the rest of them... regardless, the quilt will be stunning.

Lovely blocks. I don't have the staying power to play with hexies.
Oooh sounds N-I-C-E! I look forward to seeing it's progress! :)
Love Hexies!
