Independence Square

This block has another 9-patch and some rail fence pieces.  My son noticed that this block does not have a lot of white in it like most of the other blocks I've made so far.  He also noticed that the stack of finished blocks is getting to be quite large.  :)

I can honestly say I have never seen this block before, and if I have, I did not know it.  I'm sure just by changing the colors you would completely change the look of the block.  This is block number 185 of 366 and it is a 9-inch block.  If you are in the United States enjoy your Independence Day tomorrow, and if you aren't, have a wonderful Wednesday!  I'm linking with Fabric Tuesday and Quilting by the River.  Happy Stitching!!  --Kristen

Great looking block and too funny that your son has noticed the growing pile of blocks! Thanks for sharing.
