I've got a Full House and an Oklahoma Boomer :)

I am just so excited.  I have had one of the fullest days I've had in a long time, I am feeling much better than I was last night (thank you for the well wishes), and I still finished two things today!  YEAH!  Not only did I watch a great game of basketball (my son had a game tonight), I got the sashing and the borders on my Full House, and I finished block 31 of 366!  I made it a whole month.  Honestly, there were days when I was wondering if I would make it, but I did...a whole month.  Only 11 more months to go, and February is a short one! :)

I did use Nancy Halvorsen's Garden Song fabric for this quilt.  I used what I had and let me tell you, I used almost every centimeter of it.  And of course, as usual, I had that song "Little Pink Houses" going through my mind the whole time I was working on it.  Now to just get it quilted and hanging on my wall!

Today's block is Oklahoma Boomer.  I kept looking at the block all day and I really didn't get it, that is until I started cutting the pieces.  There is a 1-inch square in it, a 1-7/8-inch square cut in half for the triangles, and finishes at 6 inches.  It wouldn't have been a block I normally would have chosen to make, but it really was fun working with the smaller pieces.

Today is a great day to celebrate in our family.  It is my sister-in-law's birthday, her mom's birthday, and my nephew's birthday...yep, they were all born on the same day (different years).  My brother-in-law's birthday is today too if you can believe that.  I hope they all had a wonderful day!

I'm linking today with Fabric Tuesday.  Happy Stitching!!  --Kristen

Your Full House is absolutely gorgeous and today's block is unusual, I've never seen that before - looks like a bit like a person!.

Happy February 1st! Here's hoping that you feel much better now that it's a new month. Though January can't have been that bad if you made that beautiful block and quilt!

I love your village ~ it's soft and pretty, and happy and lively, all at the same time. It's perfect is what it is. :)
