Do you read a lot of blogs? I do...and I keep finding more and more that are just so intriguing and interesting, even though I already have several projects going. Yesterday I found
this...
Now I don't know about you, but I think this quilt is too good to pass up...and they are doing a quilt along. I've joined a lot of quilt alongs lately, and I have piles of quilts everywhere in all stages. I have large stacks of finished blocks, 1/2 sewn blocks, piles of hexagons, boxes of basted hexagons, and then I have stacks of fabric and templates waiting to be cut. I also have a knit bag that is almost finished and an embroidery that is almost done. Why sign on for another...because this one looks really fun..and the pattern is in a magazine that is out of print...and I would really like to learn how to make this quilt. I sometimes get a bit freaked out that I have all these started projects and that I haven't finished as much as I would like to, but I'm enjoying myself and learning a lot.
I also found
Stitched Sunday.
Every Sunday there is another pattern with directions for an embroidery stitch. Yes I'm printing the patterns, and yes every Sunday I anxiously click on the button on my sidebar to see what stitch is next. Have I started stitching them yet...no, but hopefully one of these days I will.
We are in a heat advisory from today until Thursday afternoon and it is miserable outside. I'm thinking it is the perfect time to stay home and hopefully make some progress on all of my quilt along projects. Happy Stitching! --Kristen

You are very busy, the hexagon quilt looks gorgeous though, I can see why you were tempted!! I hope you can keep cool.
I stumbled across this new Hexalong yesterday too, and I haven't slept at wink since!
All my other projects (Vignette, Inchy Hexy Swap) are temporarily demoted to the bottom of the pile.
I am a new follower. I found you at the Hex-a-long through Lilys Quilts. I love to find new bloggers because I often interview bloggers for my podcast. You can find me here... http://gapquilter.blogspot.com If you look under the podcast tab you will find an interview I did with Lynne (Lilys Quilts) Glad I found you
