Pretty Handmades

I shared a while back that I had done some pattern testing for Lauren Wright's (Molly and Mama) new book Pretty Handmades.  At that time I did not have a copy of the book, and Lauren had a blog parade for her book launch which I did not want to take away from.  The book has been released, and I do have a copy now, so I would love to share a few of the things I was fortunate to make.

This Diary cover is so easy to make and wonderful to use!  I love the tiny strawberry bookmark that is attached.

Speaking of bookmarks, this one was so cute, I had to make two.  True to Lauren form the pattern called for Liberty fabric, of which I have a very small collection, but was so happy to use for something fun like this!

This cute banner was a fun way to use some of those ribbons you always look at, but do not know how to use.

The leaf scissor holder was also a quick and fun project to make, and I had to make two.  You can change the felt color with the seasons!

And of course the Flower Friends Pincushions...they are my favorites!

I have never seen or felt a book like this before.  The pages are of a paper that makes you want to sit with it and enjoy every single photo.  The projects are fun and inspiring and make you want to dive into more than one project.  There were plenty more patterns I did not test, which makes the book all the more fun now that it is published because there is something for me to make from it, even though I want to make more of the ones I already did.  You can find the book here if you would like to purchase your own, which I, of course, would highly suggest.  (I get nothing from this, just helping you find it quickly).  Thank you Lauren, for the opportunity and privilege to test these patterns for you!  Happy Stitching!!  --Kristen
