I made it!!! This is block number 100 of 366 and it is called Vermont. It is a 12-inch block and by no means took 25 minutes to make.
I'm still working on figuring out how to make a mosaic, so I guess it will be a surprise when I show that. I honestly don't think you want to see a picture of just a pile of blocks. :)
Yesterday I took a few left over Dilly Dally charm squares and turned this embroidery by Homeberries into a pillow. You can find the pattern here. I used 2-1/2 inch squares and it went together easily. Now I'm thinking I should do the embroidery again only smaller .
I finished this embroidery while waiting the other day. It was a fun stitch and perfect for this time of year. It was included in the last issue of Jenny from Elefantz's magazine. You can find the information for Jenny's magazine here on her sidebar.
Well, I didn't do much to celebrate 100 blocks, but the half way mark is not far away, and then I should really celebrate. I've had a few people asking where they can find the patterns I am using...they are in the 365 Quilt Blocks a Year calendar. It was published by Martingale and it looks like this...
I hope you are enjoying my journey through the 366 (it's leap year) quilt blocks. Thank you so much for stopping by!! Happy Stitching!! --Kristen

Congratulations!!! It has been so much fun watching your blocks grow.
Congrats on the 100th block! Both your stitcheries are lovely too. Hope you can work out the mosiac, it will be great to see all the blocks together.
A super big congratulations on 100 blocks. I have enjoyed watching every one of them appear on your blog. Keep up the great work
Well done! 100 blocks is a wonderful achievement. Definitely time to think about celebrating :)
Vermont is lovely! Congrats on doing 100 blocks!! Thank you for the embroidery link - your pillows are adorable
Congratulations on 100 blocks! I for one would love to see a picture of the stack - I'm curious as to how tall it is :) I can't wait to see all the finished products made with these blocks!
Hi Kristen, I saw your Vermont block on JudyL's Design Wall Linky and clicked over to see it.... I like it! My guild recently gave out fabric and we are to use it to create a 12.5 block using any fabric of our own to go with it..... and I'm thinking this may be what I create. :)
Thanks for sharing and glad to have found your blog thru Judy's Mr Linky.
Love from Indiana,
Bonnie
I have enjoyed looking at all of your blocks. Your work is beautiful.
I have this book too, and have often thought of following it. You are braver than I am. Haven't started yet....
