I have wanted to make the Feathered Christmas tree pattern by Cherry Blossoms since the first time I saw it, and yet for some reason I thought it was too difficult, too time consuming, or who knows what reason I thought of not to make it and didn't. Well, this week I decided it was time to attempt it, and seriously, it was very easy and not time consuming at all. I have to admit I already had the Accuquilt dies for it, so it took approximately 30 seconds to cut out.
It was definitely a fun one to piece, now to figure out how to quilt it. I didn't add the checkered border, I wanted to keep it simple and a little smaller.
And now for the winner of the $25 gift certificate to Quiltin' It Up Quilt Shop. I have to say it is probably more fun for me to have a giveaway because I get to read all of your comments, and it seems everyone is sewing up a storm making gifts for Christmas! Wow, you all are very impressive! Thank you for giving me a reason to run to my phone to see what you are working on, I had a blast! The winner is Judy who commented that she made a floor pouf to gift. I have contacted Judy and she will be receiving her gift certificate soon, if she hasn't already. Thank you to everyone who participated, it was a lot of fun for me!!! I guess I should get back to my sewing room, I have a few more things I would like to get finished before all the Christmas fun begins. Happy Stitching!! --Kristen

Your tree is so pretty. I did that same one a few years ago and love to display it each year.
Your tree looks so pretty, I love those fabrics! Thank you so much for the gift certificate giveaway! Enjoy the Christmas sewing.
Love this too!!! Great job...I have the regular feather die, but not the other. Must take care of that...lol
I love that tree - must go & check to see if that shape is available near me . . .
