Labor Day Fun

I should have more to show for today, but unfortunately two projects I worked on flopped.  I'm not really too upset about that as the patterns were questionable when I started.  I knew when I couldn't understand what was being said before starting I was going to have problems, and did I.

For some reason I have always been a night owl on holiday weekends, and this one was no exception.  I started watching a movie at 11 p.m. last night and it finally ended at 2 a.m. this morning (too many commercials).  Since this is such an easy pattern I kept knitting and did finish the first skein.  I'm not going to stay up that late knitting again for a while, even though it is tempting to see such progress.

I spent a little time cutting wool for a take along project.  The pieces are cut correctly, even though they aren't exactly straight.  It is a fun project that should not take long to complete, and I'm now heading outside to enjoy what is left of our beautiful Monday evening.  Happy Stitching!!  --Kristen

Do you knitting needles match your yarn? I love the colors.

2am isn't -that- late. I've been known to stay up knitting until 3 or four, and then have to be awake just a few hours later.
