Say It With Flowers

It is time once again for another fun blog hop thanks to Madame Samm and Carol.  The challenge for me this time was what NOT to make.  There are so many fun things with flowers.

I have always wanted to make a little "catch all," you know, for my on the go projects or to just keep by my sewing chair with all those supplies that are so necessary, but oh so annoying to looking at.

I had found a tutorial to make one of these, but I changed it so much I really did not follow it at all.  I had some left over 1-1/2" squares that I used around the bottom, and I made little handles for the sides.

I used my Accuquilt GO! to cut out my flowers (even adding one to the bottom), some of the buttons that were my grandmother's for the flower centers, and machine quilted the entire bag.  My stash was used for everything, which I had challenged myself to also do.  It never ceases to amaze me if I just look at what I have I usually can find everything I need to make something.  Here are the others joining me in the hop today and thanks for stopping by.  Happy Stitching!!  --Kristen

That's a cute bag ! It's perfect for all kinds of sewing goodies....And I sure like the flower on the bottom, the bottom usually gets neglected.

Really cute bag! It's a great idea to place next to your chair. I could use one by my chair, too!

What a great project made out of your leftover stash. I love it when you can make yet another project from pieces from another project.

I could use a bag like that to hold my projects in. I like to have a few things I'm working on in the t.v. room so that if I get the urge to work on a project it is right there next to where I sit.

Thanks for sharing!
