I had two strips of this orange/multicolored fabric left and don't you know they were the perfect sized strips! This has to be one of my favorite blocks, its a star, and it uses the last of some of my favorite fabric. I have two triangles left and I think an odd sized strip that is basically too small for anything, but I cannot bear to throw it.
Look what a person can do with just half-square triangles and a few squares. I think this could make an amazing quilt (I need to make a note of that in my notebook).
I think this block is great on point too. This is block number 150 of 366 and the half way mark isn't far away. I'm linking with

as it's always a joy to see yet another block I thought I should leave a comment ... and maybe you answered that question a thousand times before - are you using a book for the patterns? or do you just make them up as you go?
I love this blocks - stars are always my favourite! Well done for nearly half way :)
Beautiful block, very pretty and happy. I love star blocks too.
