Flower Basket

A few more flowers and another basket..seems it must be May! :)  I think quilters like flower baskets..hmm...I wonder if the quilters of long ago felt like they didn't get flowers often enough so they sewed their own.  What a terrific idea!

Every night I'm amazed at how I am using what I am learning and that I am actually learning a lot.  Last night I tore the block apart four times (I don't always tell that part, but honestly it happens often).  Tonight I used what I learned last night so that I didn't have to do any unsewing.  This is another 10-inch block (yeah, two in a row), and it is block number 125 of 366.  It's the weekend!!!  Happy Stitching!!  --Kristen
