What a great day we had today. I slept in, went for a run first thing this morning, and after a waffle breakfast we all spent the day working on our "hobbies." I sewed and my son and husband worked on the pinewood derby cars, sorted football cards, and we all watched a movie. What a fun day! I love stay at home Saturdays.
I thought it would be fun to do some mindless sewing today, so I made 140 half-square triangles for my son's quilt.
Then I made 140 of these two triangles and a square triangles. Don't they look pretty all lined up and ready to be sewn into something bigger?
I made my Jack in the Pulpit block for the new block of the month I started.
And last, but certainly not least, I made my block for today called Album Patch. It is a 15-inch block and is number 35 of 366. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and look forward to another one like it soon. Happy Stitching!! --Kristen

Sounds like a perfect day! Your son's quilt is looking wonderful, all those rows of triangles, beautiful bright colours! Great blocks too.
love the bright colors for your son's quilt, can't wait to see more of it, the Blocks look great too, what's your plan with all 365?
Oh! It's Leap Year! I hadn't realized that until seeing your "366" there. Yeah, those pieces look so pretty laid out like that. :D Good work all around!
